Printmaking @ The Ink Annex

Hey gang! So I graduated college in 2011 and since March 2012 have been working with a collective of printmakers called The Giant Squid, and our studio is called The Ink Annex. We share the annex with several other groups…mainly some metal bands and a grass roots anarchy group. They’re all stupendous people.

We recently had destroyed the place with clutter after completing our most recent exhibition with First Street Gallery in Eureka, California. All in all the show was a success. Lot’s of people came and praised us. Yippy!

As you can see here my cohort and I were printing what look to be 3D images in blue/red. Pretty neat right? Right. If you’re in the Humboldt County region, preferably closer to Eureka and you’re interested in learning more about printmaking come join us. Contact me through here and we’ll set something up.

So yeah. This is what I’m up to on a regular basis and will hopefully have more of a transmittable experience for you (the reader) in the future. Until then let your curiosity be soothed with these images. Until next time baby birds. Love you

You hold special plcaes in our hearts too, more than we can ever show! Just look at these four, they love doing this with you! You have captured and saved a moment in time, one we will have forever! They grow and change so fast, but having these to look back on, will always keep this time in our lives close to our hearts!!!! We love you!!!!!!

Renee:Your buddy Lucas from 276 here. I was wondering if we could open up a diosussicn about developmentally appropriate ways to help kids discuss/explore their feelings/experiences regarding hurricane Sandy. I know this isn’t exactly related to what you discuss on this site but I thought it might be very appropriate and helpful. Thanks!

  3. Dude, right on there brother.

  4. That’s a smart way of thinking about it.
