Hello visitors (family, friends, weary interent sojourners etc.) So I haven’t been keeping very good track of this site recently. For that I am sorry. Recently I have been jumping around in my style, so don’t be alarmed if there are any drastic unanticipated changes in my work. I am most excited to introduce a new series that I am starting. I call it Space Cadet. I am working on a collection of these that I can get to print and start releasing like a weekly or bi-weekly comic strip. I’ve been thinking about narrative and to what purpose it serves for us. From time to time I find it slightly disappointing, and oftentimes very narrow in it’s view. With Space Cadet I want to utilize the same elements of classic comic strips, like Gary Panter’s or R. Crumb, only nix the narrative element and leave an open-end collection of imagery and ideas where my fantasies and anyone else’s come to life. Or something like, hope you enjoy! Love, Sam
